Merchant Street MusicFest Announces 2017 Lineups


Merchant Street MusicFest was announced the headliners for the festival to be held July 28-29 at the Kankakee Depot. The 2017 MSMF, a two-day celebration of music and art has been the city of Kankakee’s crown jewel of the summer for more than a decade.

Merchant Street MusicFest is a two-day music and arts festival at the historic downtown train depot, recently named the Harold and Jean Miner Festival Square located at 199 South East Avenue in Kankakee, IL. This year’s festival will be held on July 28 and 29, 2017. The event is a community celebration featuring local, regional, and national musical talent on three stages, art vendors, and great food and drink.

Kankakee is located 60 miles south of Chicago and is a multi-cultural blend. Its convenience to Chicago and Champaign makes it an ideal location attracting folks of all ages and backgrounds.
